The Opportunity
As Director of Growth Marketing, you will own and scale Organic Traditions’ DTC and Amazon growth engine in Canada and US at a pivotal moment of expansion. You’ll lead performance across paid, retention, affiliate, subscription, and emerging commerce channels (including TikTok Shop), driving efficient, profitable growth.
This is a high-impact role at the centre of the business - blending strategy and execution to turn data into action, unlock new growth channels, and continuously optimize the full funnel.
About the Role- Develop and execute a comprehensive performance marketing strategy across paid channels, (Google, Meta, programmatic) organic channels, affiliate, subscription, and TikTok Shop
Set and deliver against core KPIs, ROAS, CAC, LTV, MER, and contribution margin
Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, tools, and platforms to innovate and maintain a competitive edge
Drive profitable growth by optimizing channel mix, spend efficiency, and customer quality
Identify opportunities to scale LTV, including subscription
Build and scale affiliate and creator-led commerce programs
Own TikTok Shop strategy, partnering with external agencies for execution
Own search strategy across paid and organic (SEO), and evolve approach for emerging AI-driven discovery (AGO)
Manage budgets, bidding, and channel mix to maximize return
Partner with brand/content teams to develop high-performing creative
Own website conversion rate optimization (CRO) across landing pages, PDPs, and checkout
Continuously test and optimize creative, offers, and funnel performance
Drive a structured A/B testing roadmap across ads and onsite experience
Own lifecycle marketing (email/SMS) to drive repeat purchase and LTV
Build and optimize subscription programs (offers, UX, retention flows)
Optimize the full customer journey from first touch to repeat purchase
Own DTC revenue forecasting, including demand planning across campaigns, promotions, and seasonability
Partner with supply chain and operations to ensure inventory aligns with growth plans (in-stock, no missed revenue)
Build reporting and translate data into clear recommendations to improve efficiency, scale, and profitability
Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure excellence in campaign execution
Mentor and guide junior team members on marketing best practices
Foster a culture of testing, learning, and continuous improvement within the marketing function
Who You Are- 8-12 years of progressive experience in growth, performance, or digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity owning channel strategy and budget
Post-secondary education in marketing, business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
Experience in CPG, food & beverage, wellness, or a comparable product-led consumer brand strongly preferred
Demonstrated track record driving profitable DTC growth -- measurable results against ROAS, CAC, LTV, and contribution margin are a must
Hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok -- you've built and optimized these yourself, not just managed agencies
Experience with Amazon Seller or Vendor Central, including paid search (Sponsored Products/Brands) and organic tanking strategy
Proven ability to own and scale email and SMS lifecycle programs -- segmentation, flow architecture, A/B testing, and retention metrics
Experience building or scaling affiliate and/or creator commerce programs
Solid grasp of SEO fundamentals and experience partnering on organic search strategy; familiarity with emerging AI-driven discovery (AGO) is a strong asset
Experience with CRO -- landing pages, PDPs, checkout -- and a structure approach to testing
Comfortable owning revenue forecasting and translating campaign plans into demand and inventory signals; experience partnering cross-functionally with supply chain or operations is an asset
Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar); able to build dashboards and translate data into clear recommendations without heavy support
Familiarity with TikTok Shop strategy and creator-led commerce is a meaningful asset
