How you will contribute:
You will work with brand leadership to expand category strategy beyond a brand over the short and long term, generating category insights, strategies and best practices. You will take the lead on select growth platforms and strategic initiatives, provide insight on innovation, and develop a renovation strategy from a global marketing standpoint. You will also help prioritize the strategic plan by selecting the right growth drivers and forecasting; lead a virtual community of marketeers; adopt competitive intel data and analytics for use on brand teams; and equip marketing leadership with access to scale, best practices and across-business-unit learnings.

Role Overview:
Mondelez Canada is seeking a dynamic and P&L-driven Marketing Director to lead the strategic direction and innovation pipeline for the most loved savoury brands, including Crispers, Ritz, Triscuits. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Director will be entrusted with safeguarding and elevating the brand positioning of the savoury portfolio in Canada. The role requires strong communication and presentation skills, experience with performance tools and dashboards, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement future-proof category strategies for savoury brands, grounded in deep consumer and category insights.
- Drive profitable business growth by leveraging data-driven and digitally integrated approaches.
- Collaborate with brand leadership to expand category strategy both in the short and long term.
- Lead select growth platforms and strategic initiatives to capture market opportunities.
Category Insights and Innovation:
- Generate category insights, strategies, and best practices through comprehensive market research and analysis.
- Provide insights on innovation and develop a renovation strategy from a global marketing standpoint.
- Identify white space opportunities within the Category, Consumer, Shopper, Customer, and Brand.
Marketing Planning and Forecasting:
- Prioritize the strategic plan by selecting the right growth drivers and forecasting.
- Utilize growth modeling tools, consumer demand spaces, market and competitive analytics.
- Work closely with Sales, Category, and Demand/Supply partners.
Performance Analysis and Financial Management:
- Apply a solid understanding of P&L levers to influence top and bottom-line performance.
- Effectively plan and manage A&C budgets.
- Utilize financial tools for scenario modelling, business case development, and variance analysis.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead a virtual community of marketers to foster collaboration and drive consistent marketing excellence.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders at regional and global levels.
Innovation and Process Excellence:
- Know and apply Mondelez Innovation processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Deliver consumer-led innovation pipelines with agility.

Marketing Leadership: Proven marketing track record including strategic analysis, brand building, campaign and communication strategies. Brings a GM mindset across a portfolio of high-value brands.
Industry Exposure: Experience in the CPG/FMCG industry and understanding of trends and consumer preferences, ideally with passion for the food category.
Track Record of Growth: Proven track record of scaling high-growth, authentic, well-positioned consumer brands.
Team Leadership: Led, developed, coached, and engaged marketing teams by building a culture of high performance.
Education: Completed Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA considered an asset.
Salary and Benefits: The expected base salary depends on experience, skills, education, and budget.
